For 2024, the CX-90's S trim is equipped with a 3.3-liter turbocharged inline-six engine producing 340 horsepower. The inline-six can reach 60 mph in 6.3 seconds. Standard AWD and an 8-speed automatic transmission remain the same for all trims.
Depending on the trim, the CX-90 has either a 10.3- or 12.3-inch infotainment display. Both are easy to navigate using a center console-mounted click wheel. There is also a 7.0-inch or optional 12.3-inch digital gauge display. The SUV comes with an 8-speaker stereo system. A Bose 12-speaker premium system is optional.
The CX=90 is available in eight trims. The Select trim is the base model. Mid-range trims include the Preferred, Preferred Plus, and Premium. The higher trims include the Premium Plus, S, S Premium, and S Premium Plus. Exterior paint stands out with choices, such as Artisan Red Premium, Deep Crystal Blue Mica, Soul Red Metallic, and Jet Black Mica.
